Acrystal L. Pugh, MBA is a dedicated leader, advocate, and lifelong learner. She holds an Associate Degree in Finance, a Bachelor Degree in Management, and a Master Degree in Human Resource Management. In addition to her academic achievements, she has pursued direct training and supplemental education in Healthcare, Rehabilitation, and Quality Assurance—building a multidisciplinary foundation that strengthens her commitment to service and organizational excellence.

Acrystal’s passion for community engagement is reflected in her extensive volunteer and leadership history. She currently serves as a Board Member for the Arc of California, as well as on the Advisory Council for the California Sibling Leadership Network. She has also contributed her time as a Peer Mentor, Reading and Math Tutor, and former member of the Arc of the United States National Sibling Council (2021–2023). Her work consistently centers on empowerment, inclusion, and creating meaningful pathways for individuals and families within the disability community.

With many years of business experience, Acrystal’s greatest inspiration comes from her family. She is the proud daughter of Lucille and Curtis, and the devoted big sister and caregiver to her “one and only” baby sister and best friend, Shawnda, who has developmental disabilities. Shawnda has been her greatest teacher—showing her the true meaning of unconditional love and fueling her lifelong commitment to advocacy.

Outside of her professional and community roles, Acrystal enjoys pursuits connected to Philanthropy, Interior Design, and Personal Development. Her ultimate goal is to help others succeed and reach their fullest potential. Guided by the wisdom of Maya Angelou—“Live as though life was created for you”—and inspired by Albert Einstein’s reminder to “Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow,” she approaches each day with gratitude for God’s grace and mercy, as reflected in Lamentations 3:22–23.
