Actors Models and Talent for Christ

Founded in 1982 as the Millie Lewis Convention, Actors, Models & Talent for Christ (AMTC Inc.) went through a number of changes before emerging as a talent preparation agency focused on providing performers with professional development and encouraging Christian values. Actors, models, singers, songwriters, and comedians who participate in Actors, Models & Talent for Christ’s educational programs receive crucial industry connections with casting directors and talent scouts who can put them on a path towards a career in the performing arts. Furthermore, the specialized training from Actors, Models & Talent for Christ and its God-loving teachers builds self-esteem so that each individual can avoid the negative influences that affect many performers. As the company's motto states, “Let Your Light Shine,” and the graduates of Actors, Models & Talent for Christ bring their positive experiences on stage with them by serving as a role model and inspiring others.

Since its formation nearly three decades ago, Actors, Models & Talent for Christ has seen many of its graduates go onto Hollywood, Broadway, and the music scene. Mena Suvari, star of American Beauty and the American Pie series, began her career with Actors, Models & Talent for Christ as a 12-year-old model. Ashley Scott of Birds of Prey and Jericho also is an alumnus of this group. In the world of music, Actors, Models & Talent for Christ trained American Idol's Tim Urban and Diana DeGarmo; country music performer Chris Young; and Gabbie Rae, who is signed with Purple Ribbon Kidz. Models with this organization have signed with major agencies, earning contracts with L’Oreal Paris, JillStuart, Milly, and CoverGirl.
