Alex Bird

Born in Manhattan, I was raised in suburban New Jersey, spending my youth finding ways to make it back to the Big Apple in order to pursue my true passion--acting.

Despite the distance, in high schooled I stayed active in both community and professional theatre throughout the metropolitan area. I studied musical theatre at The Paper Mill Playhouse and the University of Michigan, using my skills to perform at venues like the George Street Playhouse and with organizations like Opera Company of Brooklyn, Skyline Theatre Company, and the New Jersey Arts Collective.

Since graduating from Mountain Lakes High School, I currently attend Northwestern University, and am earning a liberal-arts degree in both Theatre and Psychology from the School of Communications, with an additional Certificate in Musical Theatre.
