Adam Kelley, APR, is the Director of Communications at the HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology in Huntsville, Ala., where he leads a high-performing team in crafting and delivering the Institute’s narrative through strategic business communications, public affairs, media relations and integrated marketing services.

Before HudsonAlpha, he was Manager of Corporate Communications and Marketing at Children’s of Alabama, the state’s only freestanding pediatric medical center. At Children's, he provided leadership for the Organization’s day-to-day business communication strategy, including public, social, and media relations, web development, digital strategy, and integrated marketing communication services.

Prior to Children's, Kelley was the Public Relations and Marketing Manager for AAA-Alabama, where he served on the management team, as the regional editor of “Going Places” magazine and as the automotive club’s spokesperson on a variety of issues, most notably travel and fuel prices.

His first professional position was as Sports Information Director at the University of Montevallo.

Kelley represented the Southern Public Relations Federation on the Universal Accreditation Board (UAB) and is an active member of the Alabama chapter of the Public Relations Society of America and the North Alabama chapter of the Public Relations Council of Alabama.
