Canadian-born comedian Adam Richmond is known throughout North America for his edgy, hilarious comedic stylings. A born entertainer, in addition to his longstanding comedy career, he is also a successful writer, actor and voice-over artist.

Adam Richmond earned his Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Western University in London, Ontario. From there, he began pursuing his comedy career, taking classes at Second City in Toronto and at seminars and acting classes.

Before relocating to L.A. in the mid-2000s, Adam served as a staff writer at the Canadian Broadcasting Company (CBC) for a popular show called Chilly Beach. Adam has also toured Canada as a headline act for the Yuk Yuk‘s comedy tour and starred in commercials for companies like Molson Canadian, Lotto 649, Coca-Cola, KFC, and Bell Canada.

Once Adam moved to L.A., he pursued gigs that showcased his versatility as a comic. His high energy style earned him a spot on NBC’s Last Comic Standing and on Last Call with Carson Daly.

In 2006, Adam launched his own show, The Adam Richmond Show, which he starred in, wrote and produced.

Adam’s comedic style earned him an invitation to take part in a successful tour for the American troops in Japan, Korea and Guam.

Adam has done voiceover work for Nickelodeon and has a recurring role on the Disney Channel’s futuristic show, Tron. His ability to entertain has also translated into audience warm-up work for The Best Damn Sports Show Period and the TV Guide Channel.

A couple years back, Adam was chosen to be the spokesperson and face of LA Metro, a position that plastered his image on busses and billboards throughout L.A.

Adam continues to do stand-up throughout the country and in venues like The Comedy Store, Icehouse, and Inside Jokes at the TCL Theater on Hollywood Boulevard. For six years, he also ran a show at the World Famous Hollywood Improv known as “Richmond’s House Of Comedy” or RHOC.

Adam is currently working on his project, co-writing a feature film entitled Jesus Cripes. He also created and sold the web series, “Mr. Whisper”, that's in development. Adam has produced shows for the Marines at Camp Pendleton, including producing a comedy special called “Comedy from the Corps”, to be released soon.

Adam follows a mantra, “Bring mirth and merriment to misunderstood people in a chaotic world.” As he says, “I may not be there in the morning, but if I’m there at night, you will have a good time.”
