Adam is the CEO of Agilion and founded the company in 2010. Adam focuses on growing the value of the business, building key relationships, and team mentorship. Since the company inception, he’s helped over 40 clients turn their concepts into software-as-a-service products, web applications and business systems. A notable achievement is the design and development of the award winning GoMercatus platform which became a leading software solution for energy information management.
Adam is an advisor to LaunchVT and multiple startup companies in Vermont. He co-founded the Burlington Web Application Group and BTV Ruby conference.
Prior to Agilion, Adam served as CIO and web applications developer to Draker Energy helping transition the company from startup to growth phase. Prior to Draker, he consulted companies on business process management and leveraging open source technology. Prior to consulting he served as an Intelligence Officer in the US Army with oversea assignments in Bosnia and Iraq.
He earned his business degree from the Whittemore school of Business and Economics at University of New Hampshire as a distinguished ROTC graduate.
Adam is an avid reader, innovator and enjoys learning common principles and patterns across multiple fields of study like biomimicry, neuroscience, web applications, meditation, woodworking and forestry. One passion project is slowly turning his rural Vermont property into a net-zero energy and automated small farm with his wife and two children.
