Baseball has always been a passion of mine. I am an 80 year old baseball purist stuck in a 20 year old body. The history of the game, the sights and sounds- it's all been so captivating to me. i have been a diehard Red Sox fan all my life, but perhaps even more a fan of the game itself. Have you ever heard James Earl Jones' speech in Field of Dreams? That speech resonates with me in a way I can't explain.

This is why I want to work in professional baseball, and why I am a sport management major. I have learned that happiness comes from doing what you love, and not being incentivized to do something. Being passionate about baseball is what makes me happy, and I want to work in the industry for as long as I can. My dream is to work in the front office of the Red Sox, and I am determined to follow this dream unitl I have reached it.
