EARLY DAYS

Adama in her teens was spotted as a national talent, recruited and trained as a child broadcaster at the then Sierra Leone Broadcasting Service(SLBS). Her name and voice was synonymous with the program "Pikin to Pikin,the Skyy Radio program "Kiddies radio" tapped from her young talent.*

IN SCHOOL

Adama Sillah attended the Annie Walsh Memorial School. At school, her leadership acumen did not go unnoticed.She served as a school prefect in both her JSS & SSS days.Adama had her first appointment to the office of President in her school days. She was President of the Literary and Debating Society 2009/2010 academic year. The presidency is not a novelty to her.Adama in her extracurricular activities during her school days can best be described as a sparkling beauty with a brain.This indisputably earned her the enviable title of "Miss Annie Walsh."

UNIVERSITY EDUCATION

Adama holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Mass Communication from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone. She is presently an Honors 1 student, in the Department of Law, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Adama is the founder and Executive Director of Media Initiative for Women and Girls Empowerment. Adama is a YALI Alumni Fellow cohort 8, Accra Ghana.Adama is a seasoned Media Professional working for the State's broadcasting house Sierra Leone Broadcasting Cooperation(SLBC).Adama is a Child Rights activist and a Co-Founder of the Black Tuesday Movement in Sierra Leone.

Adama is one of the 50 most influential young Sierra Leoneans.

She counts among the 100 most influential Sierra Leoneans.

Adama has also been acknowledged as one of the 50 Most Influential Youths. And she is also numbered among the 50 Most Influential Sierra Leonean Women.*
