Adam Azad

Born in Karachi, Pakistan and raised in Charlotte, NC USA. I have a wide array of interests and hobbies: I am passionate about technology, cooking, food in general, gaming, thought, politics, activism, writing, traveling, driving, cars, fishing, fitness, movies, billiards, basketball, soccer, and I'm starting to get into cricket.

I've been an entrepreneur, a chauffeur, an Accounts Payable Accountant, an AML (anti-money laundering) analyst, and now I work in advertising- the best career move of my life! I'm currently in Karachi, Pakistan working for the most amazing advertising agency in the country.

In advertising, I've done work for Reckitt Benckiser, Pfizer, USAID, Pepsico Snacks, Pakistan State Oil, Karachi Electric Suppy Company, RAF, Ufone, Greenstar (PSI), Novartis, Philip Kotler's World Marketing Summit Group, British Council, Indus Motors, Tranzem Courier Service, and others.

My core competencies are communication plans, activation ideas, copywriting, digital planning, and research- desktop, market, dipstick, verbatums, FGDs, one-on-one interviews, as well as survey questionnaire preparation and conducting surveys.

I'm currently working as a manager of strategic planning at Interflow Communications. My current career aspiration is to become a brand manager for an FMCG brand, and then eventually to become a category manager. Companies that I admire, and would love to work for are (not necessarily in this order): Nestle, Unilever, P&G, Coca Cola, Pepsi, Reckitt Benckiser, Engro, or National Foods. Other companies that I'd be interested in, but in a different capacity would be: Government of Pakistan, USAID, UN (UNHCR, UNICEF, UNDP, UN-HABITAT), WHO, or PSI.
