New York, NY

Adam brings 18 years of experience to his psychotherapy and executive coaching practice. He earned his MSW in Clinical Social Work at New York University after getting his Interdisciplinary Honors and Psychology BA at Hunter College. The major potion of his clinical experience, in addition to private practice, was gained at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in San Francisco. In the begining of his career he worked for several years in community health and mental health in the Tenderloin District of San Francisco where he first became interested in trauma and addictions recovery.

He specializes in trauma, relationships, addictions, body/self image, anxiety/panic, ADD, transition, loss, and issues faced by the gifted and talented.

In his coaching work he helps clients with their careers by helping them refine focus, set goals, renew motivation, and further develop their mentoring skills. Adam helps his clients gain confidence and increase their effectiveness. His cleints become more adept at navigating professional realtionships, they learn to harness their stregths and creativity, and they become better leaders with increased work satisfaction.

In the current environment the reality is that many people have such busy lives and travel for work so often, that phone and video call coaching and therapy is a fact of life. Adam has been working with clients over phone and video call for many years and gets the same great results from these sessions as clients get in person. I conduct in person sessions as well.

Services available: individual and couples therapy, individual and team coaching, clinical consultation and wellness talks.

Adam spent over 13 years living in San Francisco and enjoys being back in New York. A former professional dancer, Adam enjoys social dancing, seeing great dance performances, and is an amatuer photographer in the outdoors.
