Adam Benhayoune
Student-Athlete, Athlete, and Basketball in Baton Rouge, LA
I’m Adam Benhayoune, a former walk-on for the LSU men’s basketball team and a 2025 graduate of Louisiana State University, where I earned my degree in Management with a specialization in Human Resources. I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, where I developed a strong passion for basketball and an even deeper commitment to service and inclusion. Since middle school, I’ve been actively involved in volunteering with individuals with special needs and supporting Special Olympics programs—experiences that have shaped how I lead and how I connect with others.
During my four years as a walk-on in the SEC, I learned what it means to lead from behind the scenes: to show up early, work hard without recognition, and set the tone for a team through discipline and character. Those years taught me resilience, teamwork, and the value of consistency under pressure.
Now, I’m focused on building a career in college coaching. I want to help athletes grow both on and off the court, developing not just their skills but their mindset, values, and leadership. I believe coaching is about more than winning—it’s about building people. That’s the impact I hope to make every day.
