I’m Adam Eires, an independent artist, songwriter, producer, writer, photographer and filmmaker based in Northern California. I’ve been creating since I was a kid, from stories and homemade cassette recordings to producing my own music from the first line on paper all the way to the finished sound.

When I need to clear my head, I spend a lot of time exploring around Burney Falls. Moving water, trees, cold air and getting away from everything for a while tends to knock loose whatever idea has been hiding in my head. Sometimes I’ll be recording content while I’m walking, find somewhere so ridiculously beautiful that I get genuinely giddy, ruin the take, and have to start recording all over again.

For some reason, people also have a habit of telling me their entire life story not long after meeting me. I’m not complaining. I actually like hearing what makes people who they are, and more than a few things I’ve heard over the years have stayed with me.

I also have a weird fascination with ancient Egyptian musical instruments and can lose a ridiculous amount of time learning about instruments people were making music with thousands of years ago.

That probably explains me better than a genre list ever could.
