Adam Euerby

Adam Euerby draws on a multitude of disciplines such as sociology, philosophy, cognitive psychology, contact improvisation dance and engineering. Adam's career vision is to develop new ways to design virtual environments to support agency in communities of practice. In pursuit of this vision he's completed a Master's degree in Human Factors Engineering at the University of Waterloo, developing an interface design approach that explicitly considers community-level knowledge systems. These academic investigations are paralleled with the more tactile and kinaesthetic investigations of his contact improvisation dance practice and performance activities, which provide a personal lived-experience of and inspiration for what is explored in his academic pursuits.
