Adam Farrer

Manchester, England, United Kingdom

I'm a writer, columnist and performer of short stories, essays and creative non-fiction.

I write a monthly column for Prestwich & Whitefield Local and also regularly post short stories on my website The Unsmoked Pipe. In September 2015 I joined The Real Story, a group dedicated to promoting and nurturing emerging non-fiction talent in the North West of England.

My writing and readings have been published by The Real Story, National Flash Fiction Day, MacGuffin, The Drabble and Tapes & Tales. I've performed my work at various spoken word events around Manchester including The Real Story Live, Bad Language, Verbose, First Draft, Speak Easy and on Evidently Radio.

I live in North Manchester with my family and a retired greyhound named Betty.

I have one of those portraits where I'm looking thoughtfully off to one side.
