Adam likes to develop models for improving the way to solve difficult problems. His interest lies in seeing possibilities beyond what is already present and known, by using his insight, ingenuity and intellect. He is keen to pick out logical inconsistencies. A capacity for cool emotional detachment makes Adam a good decision maker, because he thinks clearly under pressure.

He is strongly motivated to get things right, especially factually, and to be most effective he should be allowed to operate in a private environment. Independent, logical and determined, he may work well with computers if this involves research or analysis. Although objective, he may be more interested in finding creative solutions to problems than in seeing those solutions become reality. He tries to use logical principles to make sense of the ideas that constantly arise in his mind. He approaches people and events as a dispassionate observer, with the objective of arriving at the most comprehensive truth.

Adam conveys great precision and economy of effort in both thought and language. He prizes his gift of intelligence and has a strong bias towards the attainment of personal competence. He is not impressed with authority as such but can conform to rules if he sees them as useful to his greater purpose.

When he does need company it may be difficult for him to reach out to people and to overcompensate for this he may retreat even further into himself. Adam's logical, analytical approach combined with his intuitive gifts allows him to maintain his focus on tasks and ideas rather than on the personal. He is quiet, reserved and distant, with a thoughtful appearance. He can be a veritable storehouse of information on the things he knows well and understands. Adam is analytical, impersonal and interested in underlying principles.

Adam is a curious and keen student of all that is going on around him. Serious, conscientious and loyal, Adam is a dedicated worker. He will seek an environment in which he can be quietly productive. Adam is the conceptual problem solver, intensely intellectual and logical, exhibiting flashes of creative brilliance. His perception of the world is a conceptual and abstract one, but one with endless possibilities. Although quiet and reserved, he can articulate well on a subject to which he is devoted.
