A unique American songwriter born in Fremont, CA. Mackintosh, a multi-instrumentalist, utilizes Guitar, Keyboard, Vocals and Bass to create his compositions and teach others. With six European tours, five years in New Orleans, six years in Portland and three years in Wisconsin spent writing with some of the nations best writers, Adam has shared stages and recordings with some great talents. James Hall of The Pleasure Club, Joseph Arthur, Eric McFadden, Storm Large, Jackson Browne, Pat mAcdonald (Timbuk 3), Clyde Stubblefield (James Brown's Funky Drummer), Lynda Kay Parker and a multitude of industry professionals while performing at over 500 concerts in the US and Europe. In 2010 several major mile stones were passed including a performance of "Forbidden Fruit" by The Portland Symphony and Storm Large as well as a featured placement of "Steamtrain" in Westbound. Teaching has been a passion throughout his music career and when School of Rock offered him the opportunity to come aboard the Vista school as GM he graciously accepted. Past and current projects include: The Last Dancers, collaborating writer and performer with Ruby James, 7 year Ambassador Songwriter at Steel Bridge Songfest and a year as the lead guitar player for Lynda Kay.
