As a privately practicing cosmetic surgeon in New York City, Adam Nadelson, MD, draws on experience in both patient care and medical entrepreneurship. While still working toward his completion of a residency in general surgery, Adam Nadelson, MD, founded The IV Medical Doctor, PC. This company provides telemedicine conferencing and subsequent in-home care, which may include intravenous medicine and vitamin therapy for issues ranging from post-intoxication symptoms to mild illness.

Adam Nadelson, MD, has led the company as CEO since 2013, during which time he has also established a practice in cosmetic surgery. He completed his fellowship with Carlos Spera Plastic Surgery in Miami, Florida, in 2017, and shortly thereafter began working at Plastic Surgery of Westchester in New York. In May of 2018, he established his current practice.

Dr. Nadelson holds a doctor of medicine from Universidad Central de Caribe in Puerto Rico and completed his internship and residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine's Montefiore Medical Center. Named chief resident, he also received the Resident Research Day Award for his work on abdominoplasty for patients who had undergone bariatric surgery.
