Since 1995 I have had the opportunity to lead some great and often pioneering digital projects for many worldwide brands including Pepsi, Nissan, Unilever, SC Johnson, RBC, Cineplex, and more locally brands like The Chronicle Herald, Source For Sports, Atlantic Lottery, TIMBER MART, Ramar Construction, and Just Us Coffee. I'm well versed in working with digital strategy, online media, social media, email marketing, mobile applications, CRM, loyalty programs, and retail experiences, to name a few. I have numerous accolades including ICE and CASSIE awards.

I spent several years as a professor at George Brown College School of Design and Sheridan College, teaching Internet marketing, web design / development, and project management. I have also done a number of speaking engagements mostly for schools, corporations, and small conferences.

I started as a youngster writing poetry. Over time that evolved into fiction and most recently professional writing. Although writing mostly for work or personal pleasure, some of my work was published in local newspapers and other publications. You can get a taste of my writing through my updates while I secretly work on my first book, Digital Manager Manifesto.

My university training in Sociology, Social Psychology, and Social Research never left me. I have experience doing social research for United Way and Big Brothers & Sisters. I continue using my sociology and research background when doing market research, social media listening, and digital strategy.

Helping others is simply part of my upbringing. I've done volunteer work for Distress Centre Peel (phone volunteer / suicide prevention / public speaking), USC Canada (chapter president / fundraising / public speaking), Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Canada (big brother for over 8 years), World Vision (sponsor for 2 children), Movember participant, blood donor, and more.
