Adam Powney

I am from East Sussex (Seaford). Currently living in Southampton for University.

Currently studying Media Culture and Production at Southampton Solent University. Prior to that I studied A-Level Media Studies, AS Photography and BTEC Diploma in Performing Arts (Acting) at Sussex Downs College - Lewes.

I have worked as a youth worker at Seaford Baptist Church for 4 years providing pastoral care, entertainment, and working within a team of youth workers/leaders providing a youth club every Friday in Term Time. I am currently working in ToyTown Seaford, which is the largest independent toy shop in Sussex, when I am back home.

Music and Media Production have been my passion for many years now. I have been a member of the Seaford Rock and Jazz Orchestra for 7 years, playing the Trumpet. The Seaford Rock and Jazz Orchestra allowed me to tour around the world (Paris and Italy). I have also lead the music in my church back in Seaford, playing Guitar, Piano and Vocals. Many years ago I hosted an hour long radio show on Seahaven FM, which was where my love for radio began. Continuing on from that I set up my own online Radio/Podcast station called Diverse Radio, which is no longer running.
