Adam is a graduate of SUNY Potsdam with a dual degree in Theatre and Theatre Education as well as a minor in Technical Theatre and Design. He has experience as a lighting designer, lighting technician, master electrician, light board operator, sound board operator, sound technician, sound designer, carpenter, scenic designer, running crew, and technical director.
Adam also has experience working in schools with children ranging from pre-k through 12th grade. He has passed the LAST and AST-W exams, but is currently not pursuing his NYS teaching certification. His experiences includes running an after school drama club for middle schoolers, student teaching, substitute teaching, and assisting the high school drama club with their productions.
Currently Adam is living in NYC and working as a freelance theatrical carpenter. He is working to join IATSE Local 1 thanks in part to his relatively consistent work with Hudson Scenic Studio. Most of his professional career has been spent working in various scene shops and constructing sets on stages for local theaters or schools.
