I am more interested in what doesn't exist yet than what does. That has kept me building things and being creative for twenty years.

I am a director-level leader in broadcasting, AI adoption, and organisational change. My current role is Director of AI Culture & Gaming at BFBS, a UK broadcaster and technology company. Before BFBS I produced financial television for Bloomberg Television through the Eurozone debt crisis and directed digital communications at HM Treasury through three Budgets and a general election. Both roles had the same brief: grow audiences on digital channels.

At BFBS I have led three successive waves of change over thirteen years. I took the organisation digital. Then I built two commercial businesses from nothing (a creative agency that won Agency of the Year, and an Academy with £1.5m in government funding and delivery partnerships with the BBC, CNN, ITN, and Sky). Now I am leading AI adoption across the whole organisation: an Ambassador network, a multi-channel communications programme, and a measurement framework that reports weekly to the senior leadership team.

I have delivered strategic communications training to more than 600 UK ambassadors, directed counter-disinformation strategy following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, and delivered projects across many countries.

I am a Senior Fellow of the John Schofield Trust, a published author (Confident Digital Content, Kogan Page, 2018, translated into Korean), and currently studying at Turing College.

Ultimately my purpose is to use creativity to create opportunity.

I love flying gliders, playing chess, painting, whisky, synthwave, jazz, and heavy music.
