Amalia Danci is a senior in Public Affairs at Baruch College. She currently works as a part time Program Assistant for the National Urban Fellows. She interned with the organization for a full semester before being hired. She moved to United States from Romania about 9 years ago. Prior to this current position she held other managerial positions in the private sector and worked for three years as a primary school teacher back in her native country.
Her main interests are international affairs, education, urban policy, environment and human rights. These days, she is a member of the Golden Key at Baruch and also a member of the National Honor Society. She is also working towards obtaining her CNP (Certified Nonprofit Professional) credential.
Aside from being focused on graduating by the end of the year, she enjoys traveling, reading and watching movies.
