Adapted Mind Math
Helping K-6 Students Master Math Skills in the United States
More than 95 percent of students who use Adapted Mind to study math report greater ability and greater confidence in their skills. Adapted Mind offers K-6 students math curricula that adapts to their individual strengths and weaknesses.
Each student is unique and learns various concepts at different rates. Instead of having students study from the same textbook and do the same problems, the program identifies weaknesses and adapts difficulty based on performance until students demonstrate mastery. When necessary, students can watch one of 15,000 explanatory videos recorded by teachers that walk them through solutions to problems on the website.
Adapted Mind turns learning into a game by introducing appealing monster animations, a point system, and badges that students can earn as they study. Teachers and parents can track progress in real time through email reports that show how students are performing and progressing with the material. The progress reports also include actionable items that will reinforce learning and help with particularly difficult concepts.
The program’s materials were developed based on research and in collaboration with teachers, parents, and students themselves.
