The current unfortunate predicament of the country has clearly revealed the need for the real and genuine visionary and transformational leaders that will take Nigeria to the desired level. Nigeria is abundantly endowed with massive resources – minerals, natural, and human – and large landscape to enhance her developmental activities. The generosity of nature to bless our nation to such extent must now receive our attention as we can only harness these blessings by intentionally standing tall to develop our nation techno-economically and socio-politically.
We must recognize the present day enslavement which is the economic enslavement, Nigeria needs a leader who can liberate the nation from this enslavement and lead the nation into self-sufficiency especially in the production of her food, medicine and raw materials especially the ones necessary for manufacturing. This development also calls for a standard healthcare and educational system. Nigeria has long been punching far below her weight and enjoying the luxury of political and economic instability. It is ridiculous at this age of civilization for a country with a spontaneous population growth like Nigeria not to comfortably boast of the ability to feed her population in this age of civilization.
I Adebukola Adunola Adeleke hereby present myself to lead the nation into the long-awaited reformation that will engender rapid development and create a value-based system where accountability, transparency, efficiency, competency, development, and sustainability takes the stage.
The time has arrived for short-term measures and policies that only get politicians elected to be eliminated. It is time to put Nigerians as the reason for governance, it is time to put Nigerians at the tip of our mind when policies and decisions are being made, it is time to return value and integrity to political leadership in Nigeria, it is time to put Nigerians FIRST.
