Adefunke Sharon Kasali is a CEO working in the beautiful city of Abuja, Nigeria. Born and raised in Nigeria, after spending time in America for her education and the beginning of her career, she returned to her home country. She fell back in love with the nation while she worked with ExxonMobil, a career which spanned two decades and multiple countries. She and her husband have two children together, who she makes every attempt to provide a good example of an empowered woman in business, religion, and community. Today, she is a CEO with the Rose Valley Group of Companies, and she does what she can to lead other women through the difficult waters of business and life as an empowered young lady.
She was educated at Texas Southern University, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting) in 1986. She obtained an MBA in Finance and <anagement Information Systems from the University of Huston in 1991. After working as an Auditor, Adefunke Sharon Kasali began to work with ExxonMobil in 1992 as a treasury analyst. She ultimately rose to the Regional Finance Director at ExxonMobil for the East Africa Region, basing herself in Kenya. After moving back to Nigeria, Sharon served as a CEO with Petroleum Equalisation Fund; she reported directly to the Minister of Petroleum Resources in Nigeria.
