Adeline HAVERLAND

Suitcase, airport, new house, new cities, new friends, departure...after few years travelling the world trying to find the right place to settle down, i have decided to stop in Portugal in september 2009.

Since then, Porto has became my headquarters...as a journalist, working in the economic field, interested in gender studies. For few months, i have been working as a community manager for a portuguese company, giving me the opportunity to deepen my knowledge of the country...
As a woman who like to define herself as a feminist, living in Portugal has also giving me the opportunity to discover a latine point of view. what is the role of a woman in the society? what is expected from her and what is socially not accepted?

I don't know long this lusophone adventure will last, i don't know where will be the next stop, but i'm sure about one thing: i'm not ready to stop yet....
