I describe myself as a young, talented, and hardworking scholar who creates great passion for excellence in all endeavours irrespective of the surrounding challenges and pressures. I obtained a Bachelor degree in Forestry and Wildlife Management from Federal University of Agriculture and ranked as the only first-class honors student.

I am currently a graduate student in the Master of Sustainable Forest Management (MSFM) program at the University of British Columbia, Canada with full scholarship from MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program. On completion of this degree, My next target will be to get a PhD position to research on forest fuels and fire behaviour in any Canadian University.

My earnest desire for impacting and contributing positively to his community stimulated my passion for leadership and extra-curriculum activities. These activities include tutoring and mentorship cutting across academic excellence, scholarships and purpose discovery. I am a founding partner of Associate Scholars Forum where young minds are being trained and mentored on bagging International Scholarship Opportunities.

Furthermore, A recent project that I gracefully spearheaded was a non-profit called ‘Tree Planting Ambassadors (TPA)’. The group embarked on tree planting, training and sensitization projects on desertification control and distribution of free seedlings in various communities in Sokoto state.

My ultimate career goal is to become a Professor in the field of Forestry in Nigeria. I have plans to create a non- governmental foundation that would be actively committed in creating awareness on forest resources conservation as well as providing educational support to brilliant students from Africa.

I am a member of various professional bodies and I have actively participated in conferences and workshops on Forestry, leadership, entrepreneurship and public speaking. I demonstrate proficiency in academic writing and the use of statistical packages.

I will be glad to build a beneficial relationship with you
