Adeola Akinsulure is a visionary Biology educator, global changemaker, and award-winning STEM leader committed to transforming learning experiences in Nigeria and beyond. She currently teaches in a Lagos State public school, where she creates engaging, dynamic, and inclusive classrooms that empower learners with 21st-century skills and the confidence to thrive as globally competent citizens.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, a Master of Business Administration from Lagos State University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the University of Lagos, bringing a unique blend of scientific expertise, educational practice, and leadership insight to her work.

Adeola gained international recognition as a recipient of the prestigious Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Award, a fully funded program of the United States Government. She is a mentor with the New York Academy of Sciences and an American Field Service Global STEM educator. In 2023, she led her international team to victory in the NYAS Global STEM Challenge, reinforcing her impact as a mentor shaping future innovators across borders.

In February 2026, Adeola was named Top 10 Finalist for the Global Teacher Prize, one of the world’s most respected honours in education: the Nobel Prize for teaching, spotlighting her as a leading voice in global education. She is also a member of the Global Ed Lab, an international collaborative network advancing innovative teaching practices worldwide.

Beyond the classroom, Adeola is a force in teacher development and educational leadership. She has trained and mentored over 20,000 educators, equipping them with practical strategies, low-cost EdTech tools, and innovative teaching methods. She is the founder of impactful initiatives including STEM Collaborators, the KIND Teachers Initiative, and free digital learning platform - Biology Comes Alive with Adeola Akinsulure that empowers both students and teachers while strengthening STEM education.

Her work intersects education, sustainability, and social impact. Through various projects and partnerships, she has championed environmental sustainability, and girl-child empowerment raising a new generation of informed and confident changemakers.

Adeola’s contributions have earned her numerous local and international awards, and her influence continues to grow as she shapes the future of education through mentorship, innovation, and global collaboration.
