Adhir Ghosh is an Executive Coach, Facilitator, OD Interventionist & HR Advisory Services Consultant with more than 30 years of multi-business experience in Private& Public sectors in India and abroad having dealt with people (of diverse cultures) across hierarchies.
Adhir is a Facilitator and Coach for Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness having been trained by Dr. Peter Senge's Innovation Associates, U.S.A. He was mentored personally by Sir John Whitmore, U.K. (of GROW Model fame) in coaching. His expertise has further enhanced from interaction with Tim Gallwey and Dr. David Clutterbuck (Mentoring guru). Adhir has trained and coached the 'Global Managers' of UNDP representing all the UN countries and has also undertaken Executive Coaching and Mentoring for several CEO's and Top Management in India and South-East Asia.As an Executive Coach, his work covers personal effectiveness, performance enhancement and career transition.
Prior to working as a freelance professional, Adhir was Director HR, M/s Galana, Madagascar, where he initiated 'organizational transformation process' (post-privatization of a public sector co.), and standardised HR systems and processes.
Earlier, Adhir spent the major part of his corporate life at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd., where he was associated with M/s Arthur D. Little (USA) in the Organizational Restructuring & Change Management initiatives of the company. He was assigned the specially created role of Internal Coach, to facilitate the "people process" aspect of all OD & HR initiatives.
Adhir did a postgraduate program in management from IIM, Calcutta. He was also trained and mentored by Dr. Pulin Garg in behavioural "process work" and sensitivity training and was a member of Indian Society for Individual and Social Development (ISISD).
His OD/HR consulting and training assignments have covered major companies in the oil industry (both upstream & downstream), steel, electrical / electronic, automotive, healthcare, banking, financial, infrastructure and projects sectors etc. in India, and abroad.
