Managing Partner in Bengaluru, India
I am a computer science engineer and Tech-savvy, who is building a media startup to help businesses and storytellers to grow online through digital footprint. I have been working under this domain for the last six years, and it was not surprising that I entered.
Since my childhood, I was fascinated with Internet technologies and the rise of social media. It was the year 2007 when Internet accessibility was not easy in India, especially in the small town where I finished high school. I used to visit local cybercafes during weekends to learn more about building a website. My father and his Journey in computer programming have deepened my interest in shaping my career as a Techie.
In mid-2012, I joined a reputed college in India's silicon valley city "Bengaluru" to complete my Bachelor of Engineering in computer science. It was a turning point in my life as this college, and the city has given me the opportunity to explore startup culture and the upcoming innovations.
I developed my first website in the second semester of the college that later turned into a Technology blog. I was a newbie in content development and search engine optimization. It was exciting for me to learn and share the Technical stuff and explore how Google search is working. Meanwhile, I was also working as a freelance web developer to make money to help my website survive and pay monthly bills.
Working for two years, I sold that website to an African Entrepreneur who was previously my client. After all, It was a good learning and developing new skills that helped me to start my first consultancy venture solely dedicated to "Inbound Marketing" called Inboundment.
After my graduation in 2016, I started learning about Blockchain Technology and How Cryptocurrencies are giving a tough challenge to the traditional financial system. I invested a few thousand dollars in exploring the crypto market and understanding the startup's roadmap. I decided to expand my company's area of services to the Fintech & Blockchain industry and SEA region.
Along with my Team, I cracked a milestone of 100+ successful startups collaboration in B2B & B2C, including Fortune 500 companies, until I exit.
The Journey so far is not as easy as it seems to be, I faced multiple failures. In December 2017, I launched a crypto news startup: TheCryptoo that has failed after a year of operation due to a lack of funds, the right team, and a shift of advertisers' interest.
Currently, I am building a new venture 👉Storybit Media.
