Martin Adjovu

Hey there, I’m Martin kabutey Adjovu, popularly known as “Nene Kabutey” a journalist, public speaker, model, lover of fashion, beauty, art and life.

I was born and raised in Tema, Ghana which can be located on the Western part of Africa and currently living in the United States.

I love what I do and it always keeps me busy, education is my number 1 priority so I pride myself on that. A graduate of Texas Southern University with a Bachelor of Art Degree in Communication (Broadcast Journalism) and currently working on my Master of Arts degree in New Media Journalism from Full Sail University in Florida.

I currently have a podcast named “Saturday Shade” which has over 5000 listeners across the world. My Podcast breaks every stereotype through fashion, laughter, exploration and also inspire others on how to stay focused on their dreams. Apart from being a podcast host I am also a model, public speaker, lover of fashion, beauty, art, and lifestyle. When it comes to my modeling life I have worked with brands in Ghana and multiple designers here in the States. Have also took part in New York fashion week, African Fashion week Houston and Los Angeles fashion week just to mention a few.

On this blog, I would love to share the fun aspects of my life and the inspiration from those around me, who keep me motivated. I describe it as a modern day entertainment with a twist of my African Culture.
