I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Political Science, as well as a Diploma in Public Administration and a Certificate in Professional Communication. I have work experience in the social service delivery sector and have published books on current affairs in Iran. Additionally, I developed the Lion Karate Style.

My life experiences include witnessing the 1979 Revolution in Iran and enduring the Iran-Iraq War from 1980 to 1988. I lived in Turkey as a refugee before moving to Canada in 1991, where I encountered issues such as bigotry and being a second-class citizen.
