I am a documentary filmmaker and recent PhD in Italian Studies and Critical Media Practice at Harvard University.

I am currently pursuing opportunities that allow me to combine my interests in student life administration, Italian Studies, Digital Humanities and Filmmaking.

My doctoral dissertation examines the uncertain relationship between people and marginal objects—items sold and pawned, used and traded, destroyed, burned and discarded—as it is depicted in Italian cinema from Neorealism to the present. A multimedia project, it includes a feature-length work of lyrical non-fiction film that examines signs of impermanence in Venice, Italy by following the daily rounds of the city's sanitation workers.
