Adriana DiVecchia

Hi, I’m Adriana. I'm a student attending Chapman University in Southern California. I am currently studying dance and elementary education. In addition to dance and working with kids, I love to travel. My favorite job that I have ever had has been being a summer camp counselor at a full session sleep away camp.

I believe that children deserve to love learning and that teachers are a big part of making that happen. My teaching philosophy is to center my work around my students to best cater my teachings to their needs to ensure their success! I think that giving students feedback and guidance, while also taking a step back to play more of a facilitator role, can help students take ownership learning. When students feel that their education is in their hands, they are more likely to engage in and love learning.
