Adriana Fernandez

I am a senior at San Jose State University majoring in Health Science. I graduated from Cabrillo College in 2012 with an Associates degree on Health Science. Recently, I became a Certified Medical Assistant and I want to further my education by earning a Bachelors degree on the same area of interest. My future plans consist of continuing with my studies and go into the field of nursing where I will be able to provide optimal health in others.

Community health has become one of my main concerns, as we are increasing as a population and we will need many health care professionals that are willing to provide care and companionship to people in need.

Eventually, my goal is to work in a hospital of community setting where I can provide the highest level of care to all patients and achieve optimal health and a great quality of life!

I feel fortunate to be part of the Health Science Program at SJSU, as it has given me real life experience on community health and has broadened my knowledge.
