I've always had an entrepreneurial spirit and as a result founded a technology company, Puffin Innovations, which is developing an innovative input device for people with disabilities, as well as My’deas, LLC, the parent company of My'Empowerment and myXpressions. In addition, I am available as a consultant for caregivers and individuals with disabilities, assisting them with finding the necessary resources to reach their full potential.

I have been a guest lecturer/speaker at Northeastern University and Boston University PT and OT classes respectively for over 10 years, and have participated on numerous panels covering topics ranging from assistive technology, disability advocacy/inclusion, to entrepreneurship for venues including HUBweek, ATIA, MIT, Olin College, and SXSW. I also serve on the Board of Directors of Easterseals Massachusetts and 70/30 Partners.

In the past, I have worked as a program manager for a non-profit human service agency that provides residential, day, employment and individual support services to adults with developmental disabilities.
