Hello! I am female Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do Instructor in the community. I teach discipline, anti-bullying, self-esteem, self-awareness peer to peer pressure and leadership to underprivileged and disadvantaged youth in the Philadelphia area.
My son Michael who also is a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, is an important member of the martial arts. He encourages his peers to attend school and the martial arts classes. He also stresses the importance of an education and staying active. In doing so, these youths are confident in who they are and doing better in their studies.
Moreover, we take the martial arts youths to the Gala and to shows like the Harlem Globe Trotters. We organize charity events such as an annual coat drive. The youths learn the importance of social skills and leadership.
