I was born in 1994 in Tainan, Taiwan, but raised in Belmont, a suburban town thirty minutes' drive south of San Francisco. I currently study political science and classics at UCLA when not traveling around the world and looking for new experiences and opportunities. My goal is to go back to graduate school, but I need to decompress from academics for at least a year. My research interests are East Asian politics, terrorism, national security, and intelligence/counterintelligence. When not researching, I love to read books about science and math as well as modernist literature. I enjoy keeping up with current affairs, especially global politics. I also love Marvel comics and films.
