Where The Story Begins
After graduating from Spelman College a semester early in December 2008, I took the time to find my calling, marketing. After completing my first public relations internship, I decided to further my career by getting my graduate degree from Johns Hopkins University.
As a graduate student, I worked at APCO Worldwide as the digital intern for about a year. After the internship concluded, I entered the world of freelancing, working for clients such as The Slate Publication --The Root, the award-winning web show, The Mis-Adventures of Awkward Black Girl, several conferences and local start ups.
I work as the Social Media Manager for the public policy/advocacy organization, Young Invincibles. I primarily work as a content manager, strategist and project manager. In addition to this, I'm the co-founder of the mobile app startup Urban Delivery.
