Alexander Villagomez grew up in Sacramento, CA where he attended the Met Sacramento, a Big Picture Learning high school. As a part of the second graduating class in 2008, Alex transitioned Rhode Island to become a pioneer in the new College Unbound program through Roger Williams University in Rhode Island in 2009.
Since pioneering the Big Picture high school (in both Sacramento and Fresno), Alex has pioneered in higher education with College Unbound in Rhode Island, an international travel program to South Africa, and a pioneer domestic travel program based around Social Justice along the Mississippi River, as well as the College Unbound opening at Southern New Hampshire University as the Program Coordinator during their start-up year.
Since then, Alex has explored Higher Education working at SNHU as the Assistant Coordinator for Residential Learning Communities, Clark University as a Hall Director and adviser to NRHH, and Academy of Art University as a Resident Director.
