Allied Electronics Corporation, popularly known as ‘Allied Connectors’, was established in 1966 as a manufacturer of R.F. Co-Axial and PCB Edge connectors. Being India’s first manufacturer of circular multipin connectors, Allied has been a pioneer in the indigenisation of connectors used by the Indian Armed Forces, and has played an active role in the formulation of Joint Service Specification (J.S.S.) – the governing specification for connectors in India.
