I play a pretty mean blues harp, but I do PR consulting for a living.

A journalist for more than two decades, I started writing about CE and IT in the 1980s, when computers ran MS-DOS, the biggest hard drives would hold 32MB of data, there were no cell phones and BBSs were the pinnacle of digital communications (and yes, my first computer was a 16KB Sinclair Spectrum).

In 2007 I decided to launch my own PR consulting company (AEMpress), specializing in creating communication bridges between tech-based companies and the media. My goal is to leverage the experience from more than 20 years as a journalist and to contribute to quality tech news coverage, this time working form "the other side of the mirror".
