Student and Worship Leader in Texas
I am a sophomore Organizational Leadership Major. The reason that I chose this major was because I knew it would be challenging and to try new things.
I hope to learn more about how it is to be a true leader throughout my college career. I also love to be creative and I hope to use that to help me in the future make well thought decisions.
I spend most of my days working on paintings or doodles. Although, my favorite past time would be playing guitar and learning new instruments. Currently, I play three instruments; the guitar, bass and the piano. With those interest in mind, leading worship combines all my talents into one! Connecting with the Lord, and forming relationships between people at church, is an honor.
Being bilingual has also allowed me to communicate with other people and form relationships with them. After living overseas for 5 years sporadically in Panama and Ecuador, I saw first hand how to use the language successfully.
I find value in making relationships with people and connecting with them. I never imagined having this amazing opportunity to study at UMHB. Going here gives me the ability to fully obtain real world experience. I hope to use my skills that I have now and the ones I will acquire after graduation to be a Human Resource Manager. My dedication towards everything I do will allow me to do so.
