Student and Worship Leader in Texas
I am a senior Multimedia and Information Technology Major at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. The reason I chose this major was because I love digital media and I knew that this degree would be challenging for me. Technology has become very important in our society and learning about something so diverse and constantly changing always keeps me on the look out for different areas to learn.
I hope to learn more about how technology frames our society and how to be creative with it. This attribute will help me in the future to push the status-quo and think outside of the box.
I spend most of my days working on paintings or doodles. Although, my favorite past time would be playing guitar and learning new instruments. Currently, I play three instruments; the guitar, bass and the piano. With those interest in mind, I can utilize those abilities to learn something new and apply it to my future career. I love learning new things and meeting new people!
Forming relationships is very important to me. Because I am bilingual it has allowed me to communicate with other people and form relationships with them. After living overseas for 5 years sporadically in Panama and Ecuador, I saw first hand how to use the language successfully.
I find value in making relationships with people and connecting with them. I never imagined having this amazing opportunity to study at University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. This University gives me the opportunity to fully obtain real world experience. I hope to eventually get my Masters degree in Information Systems. My dedication towards everything I do will allow me to do so.
