Alea Fairchild

Dr. Alea Fairchild is passionate about commercial marketing and innovation, and as an entrepreneur, has started several companies of her own. She loves working with start-ups and actively supports VCs in due diligence work. She also assist governmental institutions on technology policy issues.

She is knowledgable about cybersecurity, smart workplace technology and sensory technologies.

She is also passionate about Masters Weightlifting, as she is an international olympic weightlifter for Belgium at the Masters level, winning European and World medals for Belgium. Picture is from her Silver medal performance at the European Masters 2010 (W45, -69kg), with a barbell loaded with 64kg / 141 lbs. Now over 60 years young, she still trains and competes at the international level. Passion has no age!

Dr. Alea Fairchild is a Research Fellow at The Constantia Institute, which is a Brussels-based technology policy think-tank, focusing on innovation and technological advances and their impact on industry and society. She is always open to new opportunities, so please get in touch!
