Ahmed Fathi is a distinguished Egyptian-American journalist and United Nations correspondent, known for his expertise in multilingual news production and global affairs. As the Managing Editor of American Television News (ATN), he has played a vital role in bridging cultural gaps by delivering news in all six official UN languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, and Spanish. Fathi’s career reflects his commitment to international dialogue and his deep understanding of world issues.

His journey into journalism began in 2009 after a long career in tourism and development across the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas. He quickly made a name for himself by reporting from the New York Stock Exchange for France 24 TV and Alwafd Daily, an Egyptian newspaper. Over the years, Fathi’s portfolio has expanded to include work with major networks such as AP Television, Egyptian TV, Saudi TV, and many others. His articles and analyses have been translated into and published in French, Dutch, Spanish, Chinese, and Japanese, reflect his linguistic versatility and global perspective and reach.

Academically, Fathi holds a degree in Business Administration and Economics from Ain Shams University in Egypt and a postgraduate degree in International Management and Economics from the University of Bradford in the UK.
