During high-school, running 5,000m of 12-1/2 laps of 400m track was daunting. Truth was, nobody wanted to run it. So the seniors had this brilliant idea of picking the least-athletic and scrawniest junior to run it. Unfortunately, that was me. It happened that I beat all the seniors and won the race in a then school record time, which was broken two years later by a good friend.

I continued running in 800m, 1,500m, 5,000m and cross-country until I graduated from high school. I was more into gaming and football during my university days, so I stopped running altogether.

When I started working, I got a little bit stressed out, I gained few kilos. Then, I decided to make a change and start running again in late 2013.

I started to run more than 10 kilometres and competed in my first half-marathon in May 2014 in Kota Kinabalu. In 2015, I ran my first full-marathon then 100km trail run.

For 2016 and 2017, my focus is to better my timing in full-marathon. I would like to test where my limit is.

My goals are to break 3:00 marathon, run all 6 World Marathon Majors (done one), and run UTMB in Mont Blanc.

I also ride a bicycle once in a while.
