Afroza Ferdous

I am Afroza Ferdous. I am a simple girl with a beautiful mind. Human mind is always a mystery to me and I love to explore it. So, I love making friends and listen to them. Thinking, reading, and writing are my passion. Although sometimes it’s hard to concentrate on them with a two year-old. Yes, I am a mother of two beautiful kids and I enjoy my family the most. I believe in true love and I hate being betrayed. Honesty is always my favourite principle. Life is an enchanting dream to me. I write what I believe or actually what I want to believe. I am a sensitive person with required sensibilities. My heart works more than my lazy brain does. So, misery and misfortune of people touch me a lot. That does not mean I am not optimistic. The entire goal of my life is to make people happy, and the list includes myself as well. My subjects of writing are the way different people feel, think, and live their lives. Although most of my writings are in Bengali (my mother tongue), I have recently created a blog in English.

I came from Bangladesh, where I earned my Bachelor (with Honours) and Master degrees in English Literature. I am currently doing my second Masters in Writing and Literature at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia. I am specialising in Children’s Literature, and this is my second last semester. This semester, I taking a unit on Blogging and Online Communication Techniques. The objective is to improve my communication skill in an era of increased ingression of social and electronic media. I am active in Facebook, although I have accounts in Twitter and LinkedIn as well.
