Sarkis Agasarkisian
Writer, Editor, and Public Speaker in usa
My name is Sarkis (Sargis) Agasarkisian. I am a writer and community advocate living in the United States. From a young age, I was drawn to ideas, stories, and the power of words to shape how we understand the world. Writing became both my creative outlet and my way of engaging with technology, politics, and culture.
Alongside my passion for writing, I developed a deep interest in technology—not just as innovation, but as a transformative force that reshapes human connection. I also explored politics, both American and international, as I believe civic engagement is essential to building fair and open societies. My practice of yoga balances these pursuits, grounding me in mindfulness and discipline while travel fuels my curiosity about people, traditions, and new perspectives.
In addition to my personal passions, I have been actively involved in advocacy and community leadership. As Chairman of the American Armenian Association, I worked to amplify Armenian voices in the U.S. and beyond. In 2015, I had the honor of addressing the Georgia State Capitol during the Armenian Genocide Centennial commemoration, where I spoke about the importance of historical justice, U.S. recognition of the genocide, and international awareness of Artsakh’s independence. Moments like these deepened my sense of responsibility to history and to future generations.
Today, I continue to write, explore, and engage with the world through both personal reflection and public advocacy. My journey is one of balancing creativity with purpose: telling stories, raising awareness, and striving to contribute to conversations that matter.
