Storytelling in Barcelona, Espanya
I have a degree in Catalan Philology, a Postgraduate in Journalism and digital video and a Master in TV and film script. Trained in the audiovisual field, at present I work as a storyteller at UPF Barcelona School of Management.
Maybe the label of storyteller is the one that defines better what I have done as a freelance journalist, writer, screenwriter and filmmaker since I started my career.
I have been involved in documentaries since at the end of the nineties I had the opportunity to experiment with them in BTV (Barcelona Televisió) and I continued working on one of my favourite TV programmes, Thalassa. A documentary programme about humans beings that work, live or spend their free time close to the sea. During that time I also worked for communication projects concerning cultural and gastronomy matters.
I have written books for companies and institutions about gastronomy, music and extreme sports. In the field of screenwriting I have worked for different companies related to TV projects, websites and cultural events. Also, I have been involved in the adudiovisual direction of several e-learning projects with the Universitat de Barcelona and the UPF Barcelona School of Management.
I’m truly interested in communications and all kind of new media projects. Interviewing is one of my greatest assets and the sea one of my stronger passions.
