I started fishing at an early age and picked up my first fly rod around age 9. Every since I have been fascinated with the sport and everything that goes along with it. I grew up on a horse farm in Hunt Valley, MD where a small trout stream ran through the property. The Western run was my river, beautiful brown trout littered various stretches of the river.

I have been lucky to travel extensively, Chile, Ecuador, Africa, Canada, Bahamas and whenever I could, a fly rod came with me. My brother and I started a kayak rental company based in Nantucket, Massachusetts. Kayak Fishing took off.

After a solid three years of college, I bailed and went to live in the outdoors. In 2007 I took a National Outdoor Leadership School semester course In Patagonia and fell in love with the region. I returned for the next four years and started a small outfitting company specializing in Fly-fishing.

I now live in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I like to fish. And I like to think fish like me.
